Meet the Resident Artisans at Artisan Asylum

Do you have an invention or idea? Want to gain valuable knowledge
for your product? How about the opportunity to explore connections
with other inventors? Join us on Monday, April 8th from 6:30pm9:00pm for a meetup with the Inventors Association of New England
(IANE) and Artisan’s Asylum!
The IANE is comprised of a mix of novice, experienced, and successful inventors who have commercialized products and offer direction to
other members. IANE monthly speakers cover topics including patenting, marketing, manufacturing, and successfully launching a product.
Speakers have included The Grommet, Warren Tuttle of Lifetime Brands, and Stephen Key who present great opportunities to inventors and entrepreneurs.
Artisan’s Asylum is one of the largest and most established makerspaces in the United States. Its core mission is to support the learning,
teaching, and practice of fabrication. Many businesses and inventions
have come out of Artisan’s, including 3Doodler, GeoOrbital, Rascal
Micro, NextGen Knives, Evaptainers, and the Ecorder. Artisan’s has
awide range of prototyping capabilities in electronics, metal fabrication, 3D printing, laser cutting, and woodworking, among others. With
a membership with a varied technical, business, marketing, and sales
backgrounds, it is well suited for people who share a passion for
creation and invention. Classes, seminars, and free events are also a
key element of Artisan’s maker culture.
During this meetup, we will get to exchange ideas, direction, and give
feedback to fellow inventors.
